Loosen Up in A Lace Up

Obviously, the Lace-up is having a moment. Almost every designer’s collection has at least one lace-up piece, making it a universal style for women. Even though I try to separate myself from the trend, I could hardly ignore this glorious piece of heaven. It is a must-have of the season or probably longer (a lifetime, perhaps?). In spite of the fad, we can still put ourselves in a distinct position when donning it. Some people choose to layer it with edgy pieces like trench coats or statement jackets while others choose to give it a classic twist by pairing it with wide leg trousers. In my trip to Banatayan last June, I finally had the chance to wear my long-kept lace-up bodysuit in a minimalist style. I wanted it to stand out so I paired it with denim culottes and black shades only. I love every bit of this bodysuit! As you can see here, I’m having a moment. 🙂
